Since its launch nine years ago, our prayer has continued to be that Media Chaplaincy New Zealand would provide a Christian presence and an antidote to the relentlessness, uncertainty and burnout we were seeing in the media industry - and thanks to you, it is.

With your support, Media Chaplaincy has grown rapidly in 2023 – we branched out into new regions, expanded from 3 to 11 chaplains, and recorded more than 800 personal engagements with media personnel.

“We’re so encouraged by the way the industry has opened its arms to us, especially this year,” says Media Chaplaincy General Manager Elesha Gordon. “Our journalists, producers and broadcasters desperately need support, encouragement and a listening ear. By God’s grace and the support of CBA donors, our team has been meeting this need and forging deep relationships with media.” •
