Three of our radio programmes have been nominated as finalists at the New Zealand Radio Awards.

The Crazy Kiwi Christmas Kids Show

For years now, the first three hours of our regular Christmas day broadcast on Newstalk ZB has been a dedicated kids zone. This programme has just been nominated once again for Best Children’s Programme.

Newstalk 33AD Headlines

During our all-day Good Friday broadcast on Newstalk ZB last year, listeners tuned in ever hour to hear the news from Jerusalem on the day of Jesus’ crucifixion. The series that creatively dramatised the original Easter story as radio bulletins on “Newstalk 33AD” has now been nominated for Best Creative Feature.

Martin Crowe Tribute

When cricketer Martin Crowe passed away we edited his interview on Real Life with John Cowan into a stirring tribute that we made available later that day to stations all over New Zealand through our ‘Love It Media’ service. That piece has also been nominated for Best Creative Feature.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on the 8th of June 2017.
