Chaplain ‘part of the furniture’ at Pacific Media Network

Rev Atu Lagi has formed close relationships with many of the staff at the Pacific Media Network. •

Recently, we celebrated the incredible impact Rev Atu Lagi has had on the Pacific Media Network (PMN) in the two years since becoming their official chaplain.

Back in July 2021, your support enabled Media Chaplaincy to establish a chaplain at PMN, the premier Pasifika broadcaster in Aotearoa, and launch our first-ever partnership with a newsroom.

Atu has become part of the furniture at PMN, visiting on a weekly basis to offer support, encouragement and a listening ear to employees at all levels of the business. He has even been invited to lead the staff in prayer and devotions.

His media credentials as a radio announcer give him a great point of connection with staff, and he has become well-known around the office for his infectious enthusiasm and approachability.

Atu’s success at PMN is a blueprint for Media Chaplaincy as we pursue our goal of placing a chaplain in every newsroom in the country.

Would you consider donating so we can continue reaching people around the country with the message of God’s goodness?
