When partnership brings Scripture to life
Above: Recently, we celebrated the completion of the Gospels. Some of our CBA team were at the launch event, and it was a privilege to witness the joy of this achievement made possible by your financial support.
It would be wonderful if good work could happen without funding – but the reality is, meaningful projects often need practical support. That became abundantly clear when trying to create an audio version of Te Paipera Tapu (the Bible in te reo Māori).
The Bible Society and Te Wānanga Ihorangi (a Christian Māori language school) began the audio Bible project in the traditional way – gathering a team of skilled professionals who love God’s Word and could bring it to life in Māori. But a problem arose: the studio and equipment hire was simply too expensive to keep the project moving forward.
That’s where CBA stepped in.
By offering our studios and equipment free of charge, we made it possible for this incredible project to continue. After all, what better content to support than the Bible itself?
It’s been a gift having the readers from Te Wānanga Ihorangi coming to our studio each week, and forging warm relationships across these three missionally-aligned organisations! •
