    Phil has led CBA since 1995. He oversees every aspect of the organisation, but he’s most passionate about bringing together engaging Christian communicators to create compelling programmes and share the Christian faith in creative ways.

  • Elesha Gordon

    Media Chaplaincy General Manager
    Easy-going and deeply relational, Elesha leads our Media Chaplaincy and Salt initiatives – two ministries that exist to support and encourage New Zealanders working in media.

  • Rev Frank Ritchie

    Lead Chaplain and Broadcaster
    Frank is a key member of our Media Chaplaincy team. A gifted chaplain and communicator, he offers support to our Salt network and the wider New Zealand media industry as well as co-hosting our Newstalk ZB programme, Sunday at Six.

  • Petra Bagust

    Chaplain and Broadcaster
    Petra lends her personability and communication skills to several aspects of CBA’s operations – from Media Chaplaincy, to Salt, to radio broadcasts, and more recently to hosting two of our best podcasts, Sunday Sanctuary and Grey Areas with Petra Bagust.

    Salt Coordinator
    A former youth pastor and youth worker, Nathaniel leads our Salt network of Christians working in the media, encouraging them in their faith and vocation.

  • Matt Burrows

    xvox Managing Editor
    Bringing his journalism experience, innate storytelling ability and knowledge of the media industry, Matt leads our xvox initiative. He is passionate about deepening the conversation on matters of faith in the public square.

  • Josh Couch

    Senior Producer
    Josh is the award-winning Senior Producer of CBA’s production team, Love It Media, and is involved in many other aspects of CBA’s operations. He spends most of his time producing programmes and promotional material.

  • Sam Donkin

    Production Assistant
    A former CBA scholarship winner, Sam leads the production of our Sunday night shows on Newstalk ZB. He is also involved in the creation and editing of our podcasts and radio features.

  • Mick Andrews

    Editor
    An award-winning filmmaker and podcast creator, Mick has a long history of compelling storytelling under his belt. His main role at CBA is creating and editing radio features and podcasts, especially his mental health podcast Are You Mental?

  • Stephanie Soh Lavemaau

    Brand and Digital Manager
    Steph oversees all things digital around here - websites, social media, emails and so on, leading us into our new era of digital broadcasting. She also is responsible for making us sound and look as good as possible through design and photography.

  • Miki Brooks

    Head of Donor Relations and Fundraising
    Miki is passionate about mobilising people. With 30 years of fundraising and ministry experience, she thrives on turning enthusiasm into action and engaging others to join her in making a positive impact through generosity.

  • Erin Carpenter

    Executive Administrator
    Erin looks after the CBA office and is across everything admin – from coordinating special projects, to facilitating appeals and managing staff. She also looks after CBA’s supporters, answering any questions they have and ensuring all of their details are up to date.

    Before joining us here at CBA, Becci was a radio host in the UK and Australia. Becci handles the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our office running smoothly.

    Sheree is our in-house chartered accountant, managing the books to ensure we operate with integrity when it comes to our finances.

    With a background in television production, Malorie brings her skillset to Media Chaplaincy as maternity cover for Elesha, to xvox, and to Love It Media.
