  • Christmas

    Christmas Eve, 6pm-12 midnight, Newstalk ZB
    Christmas Day, 6am-6pm, Newstalk ZB

    Since 1996, Newstalk ZB has given CBA at least 12 hours of airtime on Christmas Day.

    Each year, Christmas Day kicks off with our award-winning Crazy Kiwi Christmas Kids Show. Throughout the rest of the day, experienced broadcasters like Rev Frank Ritchie, Peter Wolfkamp, Tash McGill and Jax Donaldson join us, as well as new talent.

    Our production team prides itself on coming up with bold and creative ways to tell the greatest story ever told afresh.

  • Easter

    Good Friday, 6am-6pm, Newstalk ZB

    Since 1996, Newstalk ZB has given CBA at least 12 hours of airtime on Good Friday.

    Every year, we challenge ourselves to come up with fresh ideas and content for our Easter programme.

    The day includes everything from feature stories and live interviews to pre-recorded vignettes, music, and audience interaction. We also bring in a range of guests to offer a mix of fun and thoughtful takes on what Easter means to New Zealanders.

  • Real Life with John Cowan

    Sundays, 7.30-8pm, Newstalk ZB

    John interviews a different high-profile guest each week, but the conversation goes deep. Across half an hour, guests are invited to explore their upbringing, their views on the world, and their faith.

    Quite apart from the testimonies delivered by individual guests, simply having those conversations in the public sphere recognises faith as a core part of many people’s lives that is worthy of further investigation.

  • Sunday at Six with Frank and Jax

    Sundays, 6-7.30pm, Newstalk ZB

    Each week, our hosts Rev Frank Ritchie and Jax Donaldson have conversations that cover all sorts of topics, from the frivolous to the sacred, in a talkback format across 90 minutes.

    We don’t always talk explicitly about matters of faith, but our hosts are on the lookout for opportunities to inform and intrigue our listeners about who this Christian God is, and what his heart might be for humanity.
