Join our Prayer whānau

Become part of a group of over 800 supporters who pray for CBA

If, like us, you believe that prayer is a transforming power enabling God’s will to be done, you can help us greatly by joining CBA’s prayer whānau of over 800 people.

A recent survey showed that prayer is offered for CBA right through the day and evening by Christians of every denomination. More than 100 people pray for CBA every morning at 6.45am and nearly as many each morning at 10am. Many others, particularly church groups, pray for CBA once a week. Some pray at Mass, some over morning coffee.

Our trustees, writers, presenters, producers, and technicians are very conscious of this wealth of support.

Would you join us?

If you should choose to share in this vital part of CBA’s ministry, we'll write to you every three months with news and topics for thanks and prayer – but never an appeal for donations. You can choose to receive this quarterly prayer update either by email or post.

CBA will be the richer for your prayers – and truly grateful for them.

Dear Lord,

As we prepare to gather on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day over the airwaves, we lift up each listener in our audience. May they feel your presence and the warmth of hope that comes from the celebration of your son’s birth. In this time of joy and reflection, remind them that even in challenging moments, your love shines brightly. Fill their hearts with peace and joy, and let them know they are never alone. May the true message of Christmas bring them comfort and strength.

We are reminded that Christmas is a beacon of hope, a promise that even the darkest nights can be illuminated by the light of Your love. As we celebrate this sacred season, may each member of our audience have their heart renewed in hope.

(Isaiah 9:6) “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

In Jesus’ name, Amen
