More Christian voices in media

xvox Managing Editor, Matt Burrows, at a media training in Christchurch.

The xvox initiative continues to find opportunities for Christians to contribute to mainstream media coverage, and empower them with the skills to do so with confidence.

Recently, we secured a deal with the NZ Herald to write four faith-based news stories, with opportunities for xvox to supply more on an ongoing basis.

We also reached an agreement with Stuff for a regular column by Anglican Primate for NZ, Bishop Justin Duckworth, in newspapers that reach 300,000 Kiwis each day.

Others in the xvox network have been busy contributing thoughtful commentary on topics as varied as church taxation and spirituality, to Matariki and abuse in care.

xvox is also upskilling Christian leaders in interview technique, message development, and crisis management.

Thanks to your support, this ministry is rapidly advancing and becoming a tremendous blessing to the Church. •
